Bharath Nangia is the President and CEO of NPX – a nuclear innovation start-up headquartered in Bruce County. Bharath grew up in New Delhi, India where he was an avid cricket fan and budding engineer. He is a Mechanical Engineer from the University of Windsor, where he worked in several roles in the automotive industry.
During his undergrad Bharath did a work term and a nuclear company and he hasn’t looked back since – from a Masters in Nuclear Engineering, to working in the industry in many roles including engineering for Bruce 1&2 restart, Vice-President of Nuclear Projects, to founder of NPX.
Bharath is a passionate advocate for nuclear power, a credible solution to climate change, and is also an amateur astronomer, avid traveler, and proud father of a lovable Doberman named Ace.
Why I ride
The local community has been extremely kind and welcoming to NPX, and to the nuclear supply chain in general. That’s why Bharath and the team at NPX are on a mission to support and give back to the local community as much as possible. He is excited to support the Saugeen Memorial Hospital and is definitely up for the Gran Fondo challenge!
I challenge Darryl Spector and the team at Promation Nuclear to beat the NPX fundraising total. Promation also has a team that is very engaged in the community and committed to giving back. Promation and NPX have worked together in the past to support local organizations, such as the Kincardine Kinectic Knights. Darryl may have more experience as a rider in the Gran Fondo, but I know that our team will bring $$$$$!
